Meeting 1 9.12.2020
Sep 13, 2020A big thank you to participants for being open and willing to share your stories, wisdom, experiences, hopes, dreams, and plans. The conversations were stimulating, invigorating, motivating, and touching.
When you watch the replay, do chime in on the comments section and let's keep the conversation going this week. Feel free to answer all of the questions here, too.
Our discussion will be on Chapter 2 next week. Watch your emails for details. Meanwhile, here are the questions!
Introduction:
1. In this section I speak about how setting up systems and daily routines will help optimize your brain power. Do you have some systems already set up in life to make things easier? If so, share a few. Does it make sense to you that a system for food could help you to eat healthier on a regular basis?
2. Did you think about your "big why" for reading this book and making some changes to your nutritional habits? If so, share the reasons that are most compelling to you.
3. Is there anything about the introduction that made you think differently about how you look at food or leadership?
Chapter 1:
1. In this chapter, I talk about the benefits of journaling. Does it seem obvious to you, how journaling could help you to eat better? What's the most compelling reason for you to journal?
2. Did you identify with Jon in any way? If so, how?
3. If you are journaling, has anything stood out to you about your eating habits as they are today?
Below are questions for your own contemplation. I will not ask these at our readers' club. However if you'd like, you can volunteer to share any thoughts they evoke.
1. Rate yourself, on a scale of 1-10, how good you are at collecting data for making good decisions.
2. How skilled are you at asking questions and listening to others to gather data for decision-making? Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10.
3. How skilled are you at asking yourself questions and listening to your own needs when it comes to making big decisions? 1-10
